Join our Walking Tours of JewishYorkshire!
Join our various tours in Huddersfield, Bradford and Leeds.
Here is your opportunity to find out about the story of the Jews of Huddersfield, visit Yorkshire’s oldest synagogue, see the historic houses in the Manningham area and hear how Jewish Refugees made new homes in Bradford in 1939, find out where Jewish immigrants made their first homes in Leeds and follow their path from the City Centre to Chapeltown. Find out about the story of the German Jewish merchants who made Bradford their home and helped in the building of Bradford from the 1830s onwards.
We are especially fortunate in Bradford that the magnificent City Hall will be open to the Public on August 6th and we will be able to see many items of great interest, not normally on show.
If you want a customised tour for your group, we are able to offer this option, in May we had a great afternoon with the York Philosophical Society and later this year B'nai Brith are coming from London for a two day stay.
All tours are guided by Nigel Grizzard and cost £5. Tours last between 1½ and 2 hours.
